About Us

Our family has been offering multiactivity holidays in the Malaga province since 2013, bringing travellers to this part of Andalucía to enjoy the beauty of this area, both above and below the water!

We also found that there were many independent travellers already here, and who wanted just a day or two of exploring, and so the idea to create ‘Inspire Andalus’ was born.

Our focus is to provide a very personalised experience, normally as your private guide, but most certainly in small groups, and have chosen not only some great activities but also in some of the most beautiful parts of Malaga, Granada, and Cordoba.

We pride ourselves on this personalised approach and in the small groups that we take out.

The day-to-day activities are carried out by myself, Phil Mills, and with a small team of family and friends to call on, we strive to give you the best value day-out you will find.

I am very fortunate to bring a wide range of experience to our daily activities.

walkphilI started hillwalking in the UK as a teenager in the 1980s, starting in the Brecon Beacons National Park, then further afield in the Snowdonia, Lake District and Peak District National Parks. Overseas trips included the Pyrenees and of course here in Malaga.

It was only a short hop-n-skip from walking into rock climbing, and in the early 90s I ventured onto the more vertical! In what is now called ‘Traditional’ climbing (chalk and bolting was still being debated then!), I spent most weekends climbing in North Wales, Cheddar Gorge, Avon Gorge, and Symonds Yat. Now though I am more than content to use the fixed systems of the Via ferrata to get me high up on the rockface.

phildiveScuba diving has been a big part of my recent life. In 2007 I became a PADI Instructor, achieving my Deep Tec Instructor and Master Instructor in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
After qualifying as an Instructor, I spent the next six years diving as much of the UK seas and inland quarries as I could. Predominantly diving in the Southwest, along the coastline of Dorset, Devon and Plymouth, and six months diving in the balmy waters of Scapa Flow, I am blessed to have enjoyed some truly amazing diving.

From 2014 I have been diving here, along the Costa del Sol, and can guide you on our very pretty and interesting dive sites.

Land Rovers have threaded their way through all these activities, and we now use the Defender 110 to take you to some very special places in Andalucía.

"Four days on the GR 249 Gran Senda de Malaga and one day to the base camp of El Chamizo. Phil kept the pace within my own limits (slow but determined) and had frequent "admire the view" rest periods."

"We did six dives over three days and saw a myriad of sealife. All the equipment is included in the price and we were pleased to note how much care Phil took to service it after use so there were no worries about using tired kit."

"Another day we climbed a Via Ferrata into our favourite town, Comares, with Phil and Simone providing the essential kit and ensuring we were safe. We were all chuffed to have competed it. The tapas afterwards were well deserved!"
