What To Bring

What To Bring

You do not need any special equipment to enjoy our activities, as any specialised equipment will be supplied by us, but to make your experience more enjoyable these are our helpful suggestions.

Walking

Conditions on the day will determine any specific clothing you will need, but we would recommend having the following available –

  • Walking boots/Trail shoes
  • Walking trousers/shorts
  • Wicking t-shirts
  • Thin fleece top
  • Fleece jacket (colder conditions)
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Hat for sun protection
  • Sunglasses
  • Hydration system/water bottles
  • Walking pole/s
  • Daysack
  • Fleece jacket (colder conditions)
  • Hat and gloves (colder conditions)
  • Trail mix and/or sandwich
  • Drink (half litre minimum)

Via Ferrata

We will let you know what the weather will be like on the day and what clothing will be suitable. Clothing should allow you free movement as some stretching may be needed!

Footwear is important and we would recommend that your shoes are flexible and with good grip.

For the climbs that have a ‘walk-off’ back to the start we would recommend trail shoes as a minimum.

We will be bringing food and snacks and you can bring any additional food and drink that you like.

Land Rover Tours

Nothing too complicated for these activities. Wear suitable clothing for the conditions and if you choose to do an optional walk, bring good footwear!

Scuba Diving

Unless you are bringing any of your own equipment we will be supplying you with everything you will need for your underwater experience. You will need swim shorts/costume to wear under the wetsuit, and bring a towel for drying off out of the water.

If you are diving in the cooler months, or doing a night dive, then bring warm clothing to put on during and after the dives.

We do provide some light refreshments, including hot drinks when it is cooler, although please bring along any additional food and drink.

Combi Tours

We will be using the Land Rover to get to the more inaccessible Via Ferrata’s or to use mountain tracks to get to the start of a walk. Please refer to the description above which applies to your activity.

Nocturnal

Whether it is Scuba Diving, Walking, or a Land Rover tour, then the description above still applies to the activity. We will provide the necessary torches (head or underwater) and would also suggest that warm clothing is brought/carried as the temperature can drop when the sun sets.

"Four days on the GR 249 Gran Senda de Malaga and one day to the base camp of El Chamizo. Phil kept the pace within my own limits (slow but determined) and had frequent "admire the view" rest periods."

"We did six dives over three days and saw a myriad of sealife. All the equipment is included in the price and we were pleased to note how much care Phil took to service it after use so there were no worries about using tired kit."

"Another day we climbed a Via Ferrata into our favourite town, Comares, with Phil and Simone providing the essential kit and ensuring we were safe. We were all chuffed to have competed it. The tapas afterwards were well deserved!"
